There’s something about gratitude that makes us whole.
There’s something in the attitude of Thanksgiving that reflects humility, dependence, and a driving force for the outpouring of an appreciative soul. It does more for us than we realize. The spirit of Thanksgiving transforms the life of the one who renders it.
To spread our attitude of gratitude, we must insist on being courageously + contagiously thankful. That means we do it with our whole hearts, holding nothing back.
If you aspire to be a force for good, you can. And it all begins with these two words: Give Thanks.
Many people are thankful for someone, yet they never take the next step to express their gratitude.
Encouraging others is one of the greatest things we can do. Life can be difficult, and most people have plenty of reasons to feel discouraged. However, we have been given a tremendous gift – the ability to encourage and uplift others, making them feel good about themselves.
I challenge you to be a person of action. When someone has blessed your life, take a few moments to let them know. Why? Because those few moments out of your schedule – that simple action – can completely transform their day.
I think we often assume people know how we feel or that they don’t need encouragement.
Always remember, whether it seems like it or not, everyone has a fundamental need to feel appreciated!
Intentionally Own It: Every morning, ask yourself, “What makes me blessed? Who will I bless?” This simple conversation takes just a couple of seconds, but it has a profound impact!
