Nothing about your life is random or accidental. You were born for this time and placed on this earth with a specific purpose. Continue doing what you are called to do—within your family, community, work, and home—wherever you are right now.

Look at your life as it stands today. This includes everything, as well as your age. This is where you are; this is your lane. Your race doesn’t start later, after you receive that promotion, pay off that debt, or mend that relationship. Your race has already begun!

So, be faithful with what you have been given. If you devalue your lane or wait to start your race later on, why would God entrust you with something more? Serve where you are and stop fixating on everyone else and where you wish to end up.

Begin your race. Many never do because they spend their time and energy dreaming about it, talking about it, arguing about it, planning for it, or blogging about it—but they don’t take action. The race we are called to run isn’t about building platforms, gaining followers, or making a name for ourselves; it’s about fulfilling our purpose.
