Discovering the good in people and situations is a learnable skill. We can always find something positive if we commit to looking for it. People who think positively and speak positively are known to have more fulfilling lives and relationships. Unfortunately, there are more negative people than those focused on finding the good in others. However, we can change this by starting with ourselves.

One idea is to adopt a "believing the best mindset," beginning with those closest to us. Imagine the difference it could make in our home relationships if we encourage each other and concentrate on what we love, value, and appreciate. Without discipline and self-control, our thoughts and words may drift toward negativity. As everything in water drifts downstream, if nothing propels it upstream, we should not allow ourselves to drift toward negative aspects of life. Instead, we should push against them and look for the good in everything and everyone.

When we magnify something, we make it larger. Therefore, why not start magnifying the good in life and help it stand out above the negative things? Let's talk about the good in life, think about good things, and be good to others. First, we must have the right attitude towards ourselves and work out from there. The more positive we feel about ourselves, the more positive we'll be about other people and our circumstances. We can never have better relationships with others than with ourselves. You can start by listing all your good qualities, even if it's hard. Life may remind us daily of what is wrong with us, but we can remind ourselves what is right by intentionally acknowledging our good traits. Doing so will give us the confidence to do and be all we are meant to be.

Intentionally Own It: Believing in oneself and others creates a fulfilling life, as our thoughts and attitudes form the foundation for all that comes from us.
