My 3 G’s…

Blessed is the man who believes in, trusts in, and relies on the Lord and whose hope and confident expectation is in the Lord. - Jeremiah 17:7

“The way we deal with uncertainty says a lot about whether Jesus is ahead of us leading, or behind us just carrying our stuff.”  - Bob Goff

For over fifteen years, I have been reading and studying the power of our minds and how they literally direct every part of our body, including our performance and potential.

Our thinking, words, and emotions determine our proximity to our vision, goals, and people. I was fascinated with everything I was learning and tried to apply it to my life and use my knowledge to lift others.

I SOON REALIZED I WAS BEING TESTED when I started digging into my internal anchors to guide my hands in writing this “sidelines” chapter of life. It’s one thing to know how to keep your thoughts and mind working for you when life is life, but how do you do it when life is not going your way at all?

That’s when I knew I was being taken on a journey titled the 3 G’s and that what I would learn on that journey would equip me with grounded confidence, character, and courage. To gain it, I had to do the work - no one else could do it for me, nor would I want the pen in someone else’s hand.

Now, looking back, this unexpected time on the sidelines of life shaped my vision for my future in a way that allowed me to put my life and priorities into perspective and alignment, grasp onto what’s important, dig deeper, listen, and get utterly uncomfortable to be refined in ways necessary for my growth.  I let my heart, head, and hands sync as one (without trying to control every move)!

Here are the lessons behind each G . . .

Encouragement for Inspired Growth

Even when my shift in season was unexpected, life-changing, and unsettling, with God’s grace, I was equipped to embrace it with composed inward strength.
